Hello there♪
Today’s post is all about spice curry ^o^
It’s no exaggeration to say that the Honmachi area of Osaka, where My salon is located, is a battleground for spice curry lovers.
When it comes to lunch, more than stylish Italian cuisine or anything else, my absolute favorite is spice curry♪
There’s something addictive about spice curry—I crave it at least once a week (o^^o)
It has such a complex and deep flavor that you could never replicate at home.
Especially around Hommachi near our salon, there are so many delicious spice curry restaurants♪
Here are three curry spots I keep going back to again and again★

2F Senba Hachibangai, Imperial Semba, 3-3-23 Minami-Hommachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka
The interior has a reggae vibe, and the owner always runs the shop alone.
Their standard chicken curry is great, but the curry made with activated charcoal is especially delicious!
Once you try it, you’ll be hooked.
The portion is quite generous, so I recommend a smaller size for women♪
【Hyakka Koushin Shokudo (百薫香辛食堂)】

2F Plus B, 3-5-5 Minami-Hommachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka
Another favorite of mine.
You can choose your curry roux to your liking. I highly recommend the combo curry (aigake)!
The spices bring out just the right amount of heat♪
The rice is Thai rice (I think?)—it matches the curry perfectly!

1-9-2 Minami-Kyuhoji-machi, Chuo-ku, Osaka
Located in Sakaisuji-Hommachi, this place is a hidden gem★
The staff’s warm smiles are always so soothing♪
For beginners, there’s a set menu to start with.
Their signature keema curry is served with a shishito pepper in your left hand and a spoon in your right—
you take a bite of the pepper as you eat the curry.
The spices gradually build, and it’s totally addictive!
The grapefruit juice served alongside helps cool down the heat.
What do you think? ^ ^
There are so many spice curry spots near our salon, each with their own personality♪
If you have any favorites, I’d love to hear about them★
